also....Brett said show car.. Not performance
How do you put 17k in a car without swapping out the motor with something sweet..Did you mean show/performance, or just show? |

Well i got the block back last night, Honed and hot tanked. I'm call every de3aler in the state to try and get a piston today so i can have the running by sunday, but i don't think that i'm going to find a dealer with one in stock. Anyway i have some cast gray emenal that i'm goign to cast the block/head/ and most of the rest of the engine in bfore i start putting it back together.

I wouldn't paint it...just gonna scratch and chip/flake and end up looking like crap. A freshly hot tanked block looks clean anyways. Besides, you don't wanna accidentally get some paint in the wrong places.
