Well i took the motor out and tore it down this weekend. The #2 piston broke the ring lands. Nothing major just fine cracks, there was no scaring on the cylinder bore. So it's getting dropped off in the morning to get honed, Then i need to order parts.

Don't boost it again until you have something tunable.

yeah i'm going ubur, i just ordered the socketing kit and the chip burner. I've been playing around with the program for the last week or so. Right now i can't afford to buy up graded pistons and rods. So i'm just going to replace everythign OEM.

i dont think he should tune it himself...he obviously doesnt have a wideband...and not to be mean or anything...but doesnt seem to know what a turbo car is supposed run like. my recommendation...dont tune it yourself...you dont have the qualifications...im not trying to be mean...i wouldnt try and tune my own car im not qualified. just get it tuned by someone...or ill talk to my buddy david and see if he'll help you out.

I didn't mean tune it himself...I meant have it tuned. Should have clarified.

dude, def. wait and get upgraded internals. do it right and do it once. it'll suck if something goes wrong and you have to replace and rebuild once again.

when i was getting my 240sx engine done i didnt want to upgrade much either. but i bit the bullet. but at least i know the engine can handle anything i throw at it.
