the revhard stage II kit seems to be exactly what I want. looks like I should be prepared to spend around $2500-3000. can boost @ 6-8lbs safely on stock internals. which is what I am looking for at this time. 8lbs is plenty. possibly in the future, I would do some bottom end work, and some head work, then I would think about boosting @ around 12lbs MAYBE 15, maybe.. but for now, I am just looking to gain a lil "sumthin sumthin"

You could probably piece together everything in that kit for under $2000. Stuff may be used, but if it's working and in good condition, does it really matter if it's brand new? Just something to think about

I too personally would rather spend the extra money for brand new parts. Especially for something like this.
