OK so i've been reading lots and lots of posts everywere on the net, And non of them state the same things. What you are guys doing with your PCV systems once your boosted? Currently mine is still the same way it was when i was NA, But i'm thinking that the PCV system is one of the reason i keep breaking my ringlands. If anyone has any information on this, Or you want to share what you use on your set up please post it.

no the only time you plug your pcv system is when you run an extremely good breather system...you didnt break ringlands from your pcv...if the pcv system is hooked up and working properly then it will only be open under vacuum not boost. i still have mine hooked up like it was, you have the black can on the back...pcv mounted in there...to the manifold...if you had a pcv off of yourvalve cover...you run it like it was stock...you need to run a pcv...it helps the motor when your not in boost. ill take some pictures of the way i have mine hooked up and ill post it...but i dont think its gunna help you mines all under the manifold and its kinda hard to see. since yours is on the valve cover id invest in a good breather system to run off of your valve cover.

Ringlands blown from the PCV system...that's a new one for me. It's the blue box, not hte PCV system. Like stated above, leave it like it was stock.

It's not the blue box thats doing it, I ran the car with a WB and the A/F never went higher then 14.1 while on the gas. (I'm still working on the Uberdata set up just need the car running right now!!!!) Currently i'm runing it with a normal stock VC PVC & i have the breather run to a catch can and then to the pre-turbo intake. See i'm not sure if it's the ringlands again or not. When i rebuilt the motor 2000 miles ago i did a comp test when it was fresh, Readings were like 120 in all four. Now i get readings from 140 to 160. I'm not sure if it's just because they haven't seated yet? I'm sure they should have by know. I've done 4 oil changes sence the rebuild all with a syn blend. The last one was with M1 full syn. I haven't put any oil in the cyl to see if it jumps up. I'll do the in the AM and let ya'll know whats up. |

Your Joking Right?? 14.1:1 air fuel on a turbo motor under boost and WOT is a MAJOR no no...the blue box IS what did it....When your under boost..you dont wanna maintain stoich. We run our cars...at full boost on Race fuel(to reduce chances of detonation) at 12-12.5:1. on pump gas id recommend more a long the lines of 11.5-11.8:1. Your running it WAY to lean. Do Not run a turbo motor at 14:1

All you need to do is get it tuned...don't go to DSM unless you like grenading trannies, and crankwalk. Rebuild it the way it should be built, and get it properly tuned...you'll be fine.

Nah i live in jersey, I installed the oil pan today and the new return lines, And now the whole bottom part of my car is covered in oil. I don't know if i didn't tighten the oil pan all the way up or what but oil is everywere. I think for now i'm just going to buy a beater.
