its probably not the coolant temp sensor although your right it could be...but 90% of the time its the fast idle valve....its behind that plate i circled on that last picture.

ok heres how that one works....Put on the plate where the bolt holes line up...turn it 180 degrees, so the bolt holes line up again. bolt it down...put it on...that should fix the prob.
