hey guys I've been debating whether or not im gonna tune weak ass sohc before my swap and I decided to do so under a 75 shot of nitrous (no brain either). My question is whats the safest way of streetuning without detonation? Im gonna be using an apexi VAFC, only upgrades are the adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Walbro 255iph high performance fuel pump, 100 octane mix, and -4 degrees (not a mod but precaution)

I'd like to use a wideband but im tight for cash, Any tips you guys can give me so I dont go Kaboom!!

btw- if any of you know the fuel psi range for a 75 shot pls let me know.. I'm not sure if i should up it about 5lbs, or more maybe. I need PRESSURE!!!

I ran stock fuel, NGK BKR7E gapped at .030", and ran 4 degrees of retarded timing. Since you're running 100octane mix, I'd run 2 degrees.

Quit bein such a pussy and just run it.

aight , I'll stop being a pussy haha.. Guessing is exactly what im gonna do. My stock fuel injectors can probably only handle a 20% increase in fuel so im only bumping it up a couple of notches to make sure Im not leaning out.

I'll have to keep you guys posted after I get the controller in. But i def need a wideband and soon.

remember that your sohc fuel injectors are the same ones that come in a GSR... you'll blow a stock motor before you have to worry about upgrading them.
