I have a 99 si with a garrett t3/t4 on the way, I have all stock internals for the B16A2, what would be a safe daily driving psi to run on the turbo, and then what would be a safe psi to run at the track?

5-7 daily, 10-12 track.... that should keep your car running for a while as long as u have the right amount of fuel

1. what would be the right amount of fuel? I am getting a 12:1 fmu.
2. I use 94 oct when I goto the track, thats enough for me...plus the av-gas is so bloody expensive

With your stock CR of 10.2:1 CR ratio?

Your limit should be 8PSI...Anything higher than that will be "explosive"..
For daily 5-6PSI

For track 8PSI

I love all the answers from "turbo guru's"

But the only question unasked is....

What is your AR and trim?

Turbo's no matter what the size don't mean shit.

How much CFM they can pump out is what makes the difference.

A T3/4 turbo can be just as weak or strong as you design it. Same goes for a T25/28 or even a TD05.

I've seen a Garret T28 turbo running at 3psi lay the smackdown against T3/4 at 15psi.

HOW? CFM's and volumetric efficency, that's how.

Now go do your homework and learn how to read compressor maps

As do I... that's why I don't answer these threads- too much to type, and I'm not really a turbo guy. Yet.

AJ, I need your phone number again... last phone went up in smoke.
