I just got a Zex kit for my 99 Si with an AEM CAI....

The dry kit instructions say to drill into the intake somewhere between 6 - 18 inches away from the throttle body... it says to mount it before the throttle body but after the airflow sensor....but the sensor is only like 4 inches away from the throttle body....any suggestions where exactly to put it for optimum performance... (will it screw up the sensor if its after it?)

Mount it as far away from the TB as possible to achieve the best possible mixture of nitrous with the intake air.

Not entirely true. I have had my kit for 2 yrs now. Ive been tunning and playing around with it for along time now. Further is not always the best thing. I have found that the best spot to spray into is 1in infront of the air mass sensor, wich is 7in from the TB face. Aim it at the fire wall side of the opening to the TB ( about 45 deg angle). If you put in front of the sensor it screws with the sensor and too far from TB gives you a lag feeling at the pucnch ( only a second tho ). In my sig you will see the times I get from my coupe and it only has AEM Cai and exhuast and all int............ blah blah. Hope this helps you out. I typed this all out once already and then my internet screwed up before I could post it so this time Im being lazy with all the small details. Oh by the way you can use the ZEX plugs but im using the NGK BKR7E copper gapped at .030 ones I heard though Dubbster and I am greatly impressed. Hope this helps ya.
