I have heard from a few people that if I wanted to turbo a D-series, the way to go would be with a D15Z1 block and a D16Z6 head for super low compression for turbo. I have the head and the block from two wrecked hatches i have in the backyard. Just wanted to know if this was true.

I would go with just a straight up d16z6. I am not sure what the case is on the vx motor, but when you mini me it usually raises compression a decent amount.
