Well suck me sideways, I fixed my erratic idle! After 2 months of 20mpg, annoying bounce, and wasted time (but I learned a lot) all it turned out to be was a stupid gold pipe that sticks out of the intake manifold on the last runner on the drivers side. God knows what the hell this thing is supposed to do, but I put a rubber cap on it and the car works perfectly.
What a weight off the shoulders!!

Yeah, that thing. What the hell is it for if you have to keep it shut anyways?
