Ok having tranny problems. I ran across some S40 trannies and have never heard of them. I cant find any info on them everything skips from S20 to S80, what generation and trim is it out of?

No its a D-Series Honda tranny, I found a rebuilt kit for it but it doesnt give me any information other than you can rebuild it.
This chart shows up to S20.

how bout we ask this differently... what do you need a tranny for.. you need a new one for what block etc
