hey all, by this time next month i am going to buy a clutch and flywheel combo for my ride. i dont know shit about clutches, besides how they work. i am not planning on turbo, or sc. but i may end up using a NX kit. what would be a nice clutch? keep in mind it will be a daily driven car. as for flywheel, i was probably going to go with an 8lb fidanza flywheel. anyone used one, or a lightweight flywheel in general? is this going to make a significant improvement in performance? hook a brotha up! thanks.

I recently did a Fidanza flywheel with ACT HDSS clutch combo in my friend's b16 hatch. It is an awesome setup, the clutch grabs extremely well and the flywheel did a good job freeing up some power which definitly helped the torqueless b16 out. If you are planning on quite a bit of power you could go with the XTSS which comes with a stronger pressure plate for incresed torque handling over the HD pressure plate.

Since this does seem more of a general tech thing than a N/A related question I am moving it for you too.

I also have the ACT HDSS and Fidanza Flywheel combo. You won't need the XTSS, the HD will do you just fine.
