anyone know why i would get a knock sensor error from the ecu ONLY after the car has warmed up? I find this odd at best. any ideas, please let ...

I believe it is because the ecu doesn't read the knock sensor until the engine is warmed up and the ecu goes to closed loop.

im having the same problem with my swap right now. i tried to fix it and rewire it. looked the pin position on the ecu and wired. then the ecu was throwing another code. 20- electric load detector. so i unhooked it and the code 20 went away. but i still have the knock sensor code. check engine light only comes on when car is warmed up.

when the knock sensor error comes on i get a 36? which i dont think exists. so i have two error... but it only happens when the knock sensor error comes on. so, for the first 10 minutes, i have no errors. =)
