anyone know why i would get a knock sensor error from the ecu ONLY after the car has warmed up? I find this odd at best. any ideas, please let me know.

I believe it is because the ecu doesn't read the knock sensor until the engine is warmed up and the ecu goes to closed loop.

its a brand new sensor.... guess i have more work to do this weekend.

im having the same problem with my swap right now. i tried to fix it and rewire it. looked the pin position on the ecu and wired. then the ecu was throwing another code. 20- electric load detector. so i unhooked it and the code 20 went away. but i still have the knock sensor code. check engine light only comes on when car is warmed up.

when the knock sensor error comes on i get a 36? which i dont think exists. so i have two error... but it only happens when the knock sensor error comes on. so, for the first 10 minutes, i have no errors. =)
