I have a 1982 honda civic hatch which has a problem with it's ignition. I can start the car but when I turn the switch off it keeps running. The only way to stop it is to stall the motor. After checking the fuses i find that if i remove the fuse for the electric fuel pump /regulaor i can turn the motor off. The motor has a mechanical fuel pump so i don't know where the problem is Originally i thought it was a faulty ignition switch but after fitting another one i still have the same problem. Can anyone shed some light on this problem,
regards, jim |
