Long time no post, lol

Ok . . I've got the 91 rex!

It's 3:45 am and we're plugging away at trying to get it running.

I can't believe all the ish that I'm seeing that wasn't done in the 1st place.

Here's my imediate concern though.

I have no ignition.

The factory cap was taken off and a new msd one was put on with an external coil.

The plugs are run from the hed to the cap but that's it.

I'm not sure what to do now.

We're seeing 2 wires poking through the cap.

The msd 6al? box has a bunch of wires and I've got no directions so I'm hoping that somebody can guide me through this one.

I also find it kinda sketchy how the coil wire attatches to the blaster coil . . . does the wire literally just push in and stay with the friction of the boot or am I missing something.

I'm lost here and i'd like to get her to turn over.

I'll be out there working on it and checking back here to see what's up.

Hopefully, we'll figure out this one togeather.

Thanks.

Yes, the coil wire goes from he coil to the cap, it is held on with a little metal piece inside, it slides over and snaps, like the spark plug ends do.

As for the box.. that is a toughy, i havent installed one on a honda before b/c the stock ignition is good for 9-10k rpms and modded all motor car and some/most boosted cars.

How many wires are there from the box? 1 would goto the power, 1 ground, 1 to coil, 1 is a tach input, there might be another wire for another coil incase you're running duals.. not sure.. google it, i'm sure somoene has a write up.

sorry i couldnt help.
