I saw the Vid and I had an oil pump replaced on my car also with a stronger oil pump gear. Your gear could have broken thus not pumping like it should allowing for the accumulation of oil like seen in the vid or your seal just might not be great. Don't know man, never had an oil leak quite like that. That was A Lot of oil man. But I bet the prob is not too serious. I would put money on it being the pump also.

hey man never give up on the rex. You should have seen the condition of my mr2 when I got it. Everyone told me not to fool with it, to sell it and that it was such a waste of money. Even mechanics told me it was shit. I didn't listen and it took two years to finish (keep in mind working on wekends during school and holidays at minimum wage 5.15) and it was the best car I have ever had, and sure enough all of those people who told me to get rid of it we all like "Man that car is so awesome, its so cool never sell it man" Besides its the journey to the complete car that makes it worthwile. And as for it being a waste of money, think of it this way, all of those people who buy brand new cars and pay well over 30g for it or even 15g for a car, now thats a waste to me. Because you will have a car in the end that cost less, looks better, and if done correctly and with patience will be more reliable than a new factory car. Plus it expresses you as an individual you are not a robot with the same exact rex as the guy next to you, without individuality and differences. The car should be a reflection of ones self. And just have a little more patience, I mean are you going somewhere that you can't fix your car tomorrow, or the next day etc... I guess its just up to you, but if it were me I would not sell just because a few problems, In the end it will be worth it. anotherthing, I on average uses to eat fast food 5 days a week usually about 5 bucks a day, just eating at home for the summer gained me over 300 dollars. Plus it was healthier. No thats a waste man, 300 dollars on crappy food that I don't have anything to show for the next day except a harder day at the gym. Well I hope this cheers you up Sam, and best of luck whatever you decide to do.
James

James - Thanks for the advise. Believe me, I'm trying to take it all, lol
I'm looking at a pump as we speak . . just incase.
As for everything else, I guess I'll find out once it's all taken apart . . . again!

I'll keep you posted on this one . . it's the final blow in this situation.
Once that's taken care of, this thing shoud be ready to rip.

Thanks again!!!
