My wife's 2000 Civic Ex Coupe has a problem with the blower motor cutting off intermittently. It's not the blower b/c I replaced it. There is a relay under the glove box with wires going to the blower that clicks when the blower doesn't work and makes no noise when the blower does work. Any suggestions? Also there isn't much heat coming out when it does work and the temp guage stays the bottom 1/4 near cold, could the thermostat be stuck open? If so how hard is it to change and what should I watch out for?
Thanks for all the help. Jason |

seems possible that the relay could have gone bad.. replacing that would be my first step after i made sure that it was getting a constant and switched power
also the thermostat could be bad.. check the diy. I belive their is a write up on replacing it and it's ~15 bucks from the dealer i think. Seems like you know whats wrong.. you just need to double check and get someone else to agree befor you go in headfirst.
