I would just let the shop worry about that.. let them do all the work.. so should something else go wrong they should warrentee it to a degree

i see.
also if the bearing seat is f'd will that cause head damage?
If so will it just be the valves, and will it have to be cleaned for metal flakes?

Is it possible to change my seating bearing myself? I was thinking about removing the piston to check on the walls and if the walls are ok, and if they are i wanted to do the seat bearing myself, good or bad idea.
