Vtec Light

Well I went to www.hazone.com and under how - to I followed the directions to install the vtec activation light unfortunatly (this is not stated) the instructions are for 96-00 civic. I learned this after I started the project. The information is good on what to buy from radio shack except for the tap-in clips which are a piece of crap. Do not buy tap in clips they will not work thus a waste of time all togethor!!! Do not follow the instructions if you have a 92-95 civic (mine is a 93) the vtec wire into the ECU is not in the second plug and it is not the green wire with the yellow strip. After tearing out my ecu and looking at the wire did I find this out. The VTEC wire for a 93 civic is in the last plug from you or plug A. (26 pins) the wire is in 4th slot and is orange with a white stripe. I had to ghetto rig the wire to wire my blue LED in becouse the tap-in clips do not work. I used a wire stripper and stripped about a 1 mm bare patch and then connected my LED wire to it by wrapping it around and then using electrical tape finished connecting the two wires. other than those problem if you are looking to wire in a vtec activation light in a 92-95 civic the instructions are great to a point. follow my directions above when it comes to the ECU.
