Hey, I have to change brake pads tomorrow and new rotors wouldn't hurt soon either. But I have a full front brake assembly (spindles, rotors, calipers, pads etc) ...

Hey, I have to change brake pads tomorrow and new rotors wouldn't hurt soon either. But I have a full front brake assembly (spindles, rotors, calipers, pads etc) for a 2000 SI in my shop. I could completely change out my setup for this instead right?
Or are the spindles the same so I could just change rotors and calipers?

And last, I think the SI rotors are just slightly bigger than my dx's, so would they fit under my stock 13" wheels?

the SI rotor is like another inch larger i think. Not sure if it'll fit in the 13" rims though...

Well thanks for the replies. I went out there and it seems the brakes got about another 8 months left. I wouldn't have bothered but last night while driving I was getting a sound from the front right tire area that sounded like the heater was on in the car. So I popped the wheel to see if anything was making contact or if the brakes were beyond due (I usually have the radio to loud to hear the indicator!) but everything looked normal.
I switched the front tires to see if the problem moves to the driver side but I haven't gotten a chance to drive somewhere yet. I'll find out tonight.
I just figured if I had to change anything I might be able to use the bigger setup that I had. And yeah, the calipers were hitting the rim- another inch would have done it.

But thanks for the help!
