how long has it been since you changed the fuel filter?

mine wouldnt start one day and after an overview my dad suggested to change the fuel filter. after installation, i tried the igniition while smashing the gas, the car came back to life.

but quite possilby the fuel pump or pressure regulator could be your problem, hard to say.

Quick question for you not related to your problem...

Does your engine really say "ZC" on the front of the block? Indulge me. Please.

Cool. Thanks! Would you be able to take a picture of the engine- one that has both the ZC stamp and the VTEC solenoid in the same frame?

Relating to your problem,

You have fuel in the tank but you unplug the hoses and find nothing. Yes, it may definatley be the fuel pump or filter, but probably the pump. Do this, with a quiet surrounding, sit in the car and turn the key to the "ON" position. If your fuel pump is active, you will hear the fuel system prime- which is about a 3 second hum followed by a click. That means the pump is alive and filling the lines with fuel.

If that works you can then suspect your fuel filter. Normally if you have a bad fuel filter you would have a bogging motor while driving/idling because the engine cannot match the amount of air with enough fuel. If you normally or frequently let your gas tank go below 1/4 tank then you WILL accrue gunk that will clog the filter, so check that out next and post your progress.

I would definately check the fuel filter next. I don't know why you want to take the rear seats out in relation to this problem, but put down the rear seats and there is a 8 or 10 mm screw that you must remove which secures the seats in. After that just lift out the seats a bit and you will see that they are held in with a 2 hooks that have a weird bend in them. Just gets those hooks out of the hole and your rear seat comes right off.
