ACT HDSS. Heavy duty pressure plate, full faced street disc. Pucked discs aren't good for daily driving, and you don't need a heavy pressure plate...the heavy duty will be plenty...closest to stock, but a little stiffer, and can hold way more power. I love mine.

one of my friends had a 2000 Civic Si with a Clutch master Stage 3 and a 5 lb Flywheel. he would beat GSR's on a regular basis. on the street, and i cant really remember his best 1/4 mile time. But the thing was hard as hell to drive, Now based on ym expeirience, I would go for a Exedy Stage 2 or 3 with a lightened flywheel, one of the easiest most grabby clutches out on the market. IMO.

he wants to sell me the kit for 350 and to refurace and balance my stock flywheel for an additional 100 so $450 total , since my motor is going to be out and easy to replace, but ya i dont want to hard of a drive; something strong but not too rough.
hey golden body can you get a deal on a clutch kit. email me for a quick response. RST531@msn.com |

What kind of mods do you have or plan to make? I am about to upgrade my clutch also but I want something that is commuter friendly. I have been thinking about the exedy stage 1 ($240 shipped from horsepowerfreaks.com) or the basic exedy oem clutch ($135 ebay) because I dont have many mods, just a magna flow cat back and a cold air intake. I am also considering 3 flywheels because the cost of rebalancing is not very different than a new one. ACT street light weighs 12.5 lbs should be better for driveability, an exedy flywheel that weighs 9.5 lbs and a fidanza flywheel that weighs 7.5 lbs. All pretty much cost the same $195-$220 shipped. I have been told that a extra light flywheel may make the car hard to get going at first but wind up nicely after you get going. I am just trying to find the right balance. Let me know what you guys think.
