i need to find the cheapest deal on an ACT clutch. they all seem to be pretty darn expensive. god this is frustrating... there are so many damn clutch brands and types out there.... just needs to be able to be street driven, tollerate my terrible abuse, and tollerate it with a 50 shot of nitrous.. like i said, its a pain in the ass.
any help woulld be greatly appreciated. thank you.

ACT is defently the way to go, if not that I would say RPS. You get what you pay for man, and sometimes you come across a deal. But think of it this way, you buy a clutch for 250 for some no name brand you never heard of, and you gotta replace it within a 8 month period. now you buy a ACT clutch for 400 and it lasts you lets say 1.5 years. So you just saved yourself 100 bucks cause you bought a damn good product. May seem expensive now, but less hassle down the road.

For your setup plus a 50 shot, just go one up from stock. Stage 2 will be fine. Stage 3 is for a much stronger car/ track use, anything higher would pretty much be track only.
I have a friend with an older RX7 who bought an aftermarket clutch without an understanding about the differences. It's like when you win alot of money on Gran Turismo and just buy the best version of every upgrade without knowing what your putting in. He complains that he can barely shift anything under 4k RPM.

so the "stage 2" ACT clutch is called the Stage 2? or is it like a street/strip? full face? aaahhhhh.. tell me the exact name of the clutch and model of clutch i need.. i would really appreciate it. then i can just look for that exact one. lol. im such a dork. thanks though.

ive already found a Fidanza 7.5 lb flywheel for $240 on ebay. its one of those "buy it now" deals. its legit though, my buddy whom has a 300zx TT got a 12 lb from the same guy. so right now, heres my plan in order.
1. get the clutch and flywheel
2. possibly get some crane stage 2 cams.
3. a 50 shot of nitrous.
i think i will be happy with the cars performance and reliability after these mods. then i can play with the outside. but yeah. i really dont want to tear into the motor too much. lookin to get the most bang for my buck! and try and keep it reliable.

Go with the ACT HC5-HDSS. It will hold all that you posted and more. Its a great clutch kit for the street along with the track. I have this clutch and am very happy with it. Holds up great and never lets me down.... and thats with 6k drops on slicks.
