Forget the freezing weather we're having here. I've GOT to get the oil pump taken off and checked out to figure out what gives with this leaking problem I'm having.

Has anyone here ever ripped one off? (b16a)

I'd like to get going in the morning so quick replies would be extremely helpfull at this time!

From the looks of things, I'd think that I have to drop the motor down a few inches to get the crank pulley to clear the front of the car's frame, from there, I'd assume that I just need to take off the belts, oil pan, and then the crank pulley?
That' were I'm lost. Does the pulley just unbolt and come off with a puller? Like I said, never done it, lol

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks agian!

The oil pan just unbolts, you shouldn't need a puller or anything. But getting there is the shitty part.

First you gotta remove all drive & timing belts, and take out the dipstick AND it's tube because they go into the oil pumps housing.

Second is to take off the Crankshaft Speed sensor or fluctuation sensor- whatever it's called.

Now just take off the crankshaft pulley/sprocket and remove the oil pan. To get the pump, you need to remove the oil screen. While you have it off, check it out because sometimes their really clogged so you could just replace it while everything is apart.

Hope this helps ya.
