B20vtecbig Trouble California State Inspection

Maybe I don't have it as bad as I thought in RI. Cause nobody gives a shit enough to go reading block codes or what ECU your running. They stick the reader in the tailpipe and off you go... I even passed with my check engine light on because I had a bad vehicle speed sensor- which also means that the speedometer won't work without that sensor. CA sucks man.

everywhere sucks compared to here. They don't have any inspections here. Just brake tags and they don't even do that right. most of the time they just make you pay the 20 bucks and they give u the sticker at most check your blinkers.

Thats about the only good thing about LA.

Ive read that a CRV engine wont pass at all with or without the vtec. The b20z is only for a light suv/truck vehicles, and is illegal to have is a compact car.

yup, no state referees, no cops popping your hood. although they get you for exhaust mods, although i never got ticketed but i know some who have.

and c'mon james new orleans itself is about the best thing in LA, glad thats where i'm from.

i used to think Texas was bad with the new "street racing laws" that came out but not anymore. plus i haven't really heard of popos really enforcing that law. only thing is the stupid license plate law. i think it's pointless...you have to have the words "TEXAS" on top and "The Lone Star State" at the bottom showing otherwise it's illegal and you can get ticketed. Most license plate frams cover most of those words so they're illegal.

That has been a law on the books here in MA for as long as I can remember. But I have never heard of people getting tickets for it. It one of those thing a cop will add on if he wants to be a complete ass. I have one on my car and I've never had a problem in 4 years. But I agree it is a stupid law.
