hi all, i just want your opinion about how silver or gunmetal rims match clover-green color civic (that dark green of 6th gen). i've tried rims simulators but they don't seem to represent the colors in real world, especially considering natural lightings.

IMO either would work...depending on the style of the rim.
i'm a fan of gunmetal with a sliver lip though ![]()

Hey that looks like my car, but mine is completely stock outside
![]() The only concern I've had w/ gunmetal is sometimes it can look like "dusty/unclean", on the other hand silver might look slightly "bling". I need to make sure that I'll get the right color since it's expensive to change wheels ![]() |

lol, thx for the opinion about dirty silver. i hope no offense was taken as i didn't mean to offend anyone here. i was just wondering if the greyish look of gunmetal would make the car's overall appearance look darker. while silver might give contrast too much on the whole thing.

Go with silver, gunmetal only looks decent on certain cars like white or that metallic silver that honda has.

. But having a silver rim on a civic being green does look its best. Think in the longrun as to what else you might want to add such as projectors or a carbonfiber hood. If you ever plan on carbonfiber it would look nice with gunmetal. If you ever just want regular projectors, then go with silver or aka (alloy). If not regular then Blackhousing projectors go with gunmetal. Define your wheel color by defining the other add ons to your exterior that you will want later on. |
