There is this guy selling aluminum shifter bushings for k series engines and they are failrly good quality and at 13-17 beans a set its not too bad...I know that this would be one of those weird mods that give no gains whatsoever but in essence I just want to know howt is it exactly that these would help my hatch?
is this mod available from any other reputable companies? and if so has anyone had experience with using them? thanks. --esteban |

I have never heard of aluminum bushings before. But anyway the basic function for a good bushing is to make the shifts a lot more crisp and to prevent your shifter from popping out of gear. When shifter bushings get worn it can become difficult to shift into a gear or even stay in that gear. It gives the shifter a tighter feel and less play from side to side.
James I think it is a worthy upgrade especially for so cheap. James |

well everyine over st kseries.com says that his product is good and a few of them preach about them and its pretty much the same wat over at ephatch.com, but the last site is mainly a bunch of younger kids and while k-series.com is mainly a tech-oriented site I have not been ther elong enough to get to know everyone good enough to ask questions, I'm in the trolling stage
