Well I was changing my turn signal bulbs up front with the direct 3496 Bulbs from Pep Boys. When I put the new ones in, my driver side blinker was blinking fast as hell, and it was dimming, instead of blinking. So I exchanged them (thinking it was the bulbs) because all of the other blinkers lit up. So my friend came over with the same exact problem and swapping the bulbs didnt help either. SO I figured the socket was bad, and I looked inside and noticed a side prong that must have been bent and not touching the socket. So I stuck a pick in there and pulled it out some, and it fixed it, blinkers worked properly.
- Hyperblinkers - blink rapidly - Actually dimming one of the filaments inside - Fixed by pulling side metal contact inside the bulb socket Good luck, hope you don't get this problem ! JDK PS: I'm pretty sure I bent it somehow by putting the bulb in wrong. |
