I was flying down this hill leading to a parking lot , and the lot was filled with concrete parking stoppers. I thought my car could fly over the blocks.
I braced for impact and made it over. The block was destroyed, I mean completely smashed. I feared for my car. It sustained some injuries, cracks in the tranny and dented oilpan. I'm trying to repair this with JB weld , do you guys think it will hold. Should I try soldering or welding, I want to avoid taking the tranny out. Any advice would help. |

Ok, the JB weld failed miserably. What should I try next.
If I decide to replace it what tranny should I swap it out for a better one. I have d16y7 and I heard the ex tranny should fit mine. Do you guys know of any good replacements? Would type -r fit mines or integra tranny's work? |

nope only D series tranny, get an SI (d series out of an 5th gen) and put it in there, shorter gearing for quicker accel.

Is the Si tranny almost the same as the ex, what about the z6 or y8 ? How do those compare with each other?
