Discuss the Hard Start After Raining thread at the General Tech forums at the CivicLand Honda Civic Forums.
Still kinda stumping me but sometimes my car is hard to start after its been either cool or raining all night long. give me some ideas. No codes or nothing...

when I lived in PA back in highschool my civic would do the same thing when it was cold out or had a real cold rain... so I figured it was just a temperature thing...

I would check the distributor cap for cracks and make sure that the rubber o ring around the outside of the distributor cap is in one piece. The reason is because if moisture gets in the cap then the car wont start until the sparks from the ignition have dried up all the water inside so it can take a few minutes depending on how much water is in there. In areas that have high humidity this is a common problem.

I don't wanna sound like I'm chiming in outta nowhere (even though I am) but B16 is right I had the same prob and that almost word for word what Honda told me when I got it checked out.
