can you take out the emblem on a 6G grill and still be able to mount it properly? ive heard of it being done, but looking at it, it looks like you have to actually cut the plastic that the "H" is mounted to. and install your own grill. any info would be great. thanks.

i tried it...
though it was on a crappy camera phone. took me about 2 hours. i used "gutter guard" from home depot. the stuff you put over your gutters to keep shit out. i think im gonna paint it to look even more clean. but i was suprised how well it turned out. by the way, my 97 was NOT one piece to cut out. i took it out in 3 sections with a dremel. could be a little bit better fit, but only noticeable up close. and if you know what to look for. -Dane

btw that mod only works for 96-98.. 99-00 has different front grill and doesn't work the same way.
