Is there a way to easily wire up my OEM fogs so that they don't require the headlights to be on? I'm no electrician, and I usually blow 3 fuses before figuring stuff out, so I thought I'd ask FIRST hehe. Using the wiring harness provided, and hooking it up per the instructions, it looks like it feeds off of the low beam power...should I try to go to the battery instead?

Thx

You could do that or try and run them to a switch. Depends on whether you just want the fog lights on. I would say just rewire to the parking lights. Still not the easiest to do.

easy. on the relay there should be 5 prongs, if there isnt, get one at your car parts store or radio shack, where ever. first read the diagram and figure out what is what. one hooks to your battery, it is the 12V on the diagram most likely. One is your ground, find a place thats not noticable, sand it down to bare metal, connect a ring terminal on the wire, and screw it to the bare spot. you want a good ground so dont skimp. the next one is the switched 12V. that will run to your switch for your fogs. the other two remaining prongs are 12V power for your fogs. connect the positive leg from one light to one prong, and the other light to the last prong. then you have to probably ground the lights to the chassis, (i dont know what kit you have im just guessing). lastly, you probably have 3 prongs on your switch for your foglights right? one goes to battery for 12V, one is the ground, and the last one goes to the 12V switched on your relay. it sounds like a lot but its really not. draw it out if you have to, it will make sense.
