How the hell do you hold the pulley in place so you can take it off? I need to get it off so i can take the timing belt cover off so i can change the mount on the driver side. Let me know.

If the motor is in the car, put it in 5th gear and have someone step on the brakes. Use a long extension and a HUGE breaker bar. It'll come off.

Well the motor is on a stand and the flywheel has already been taken off.

snap-on makes a tool for that, but i think you have to have the flywheel on. just put it back on so you can hold it in place, use the holder tool, and the breaker bar with extension like people said up above. it will come off.

Well the problem is you can't put the flywheel on while it's on the stand. And I don't feel liek braking my back trying to get it off the stand by myself. Air tools isn't the problem it's holding the pulley so it dosen't move. I'll figure something out. Let me check my shop manual and see what it says.
