I need some information on the 92 GSR seats, and how hard will it be to swap them in my 95 Eg coupe. Am I able to use the same rails on the GSR seat or do I have to use the Eg seat rails. If so how do I take off the GSR seat rails and replace the them with the Eg seat rails. Also do I have to drill no holes or can I use the orginal holes to mount the seat in my car.

I?ve never done it, so I'm not sure how hard it is. I did however take the bucket seats out of my eclipse and basically made conversions for the rails off the eclipse. Ultimately I decided that the seats were too heavy and took them out.

I dont think that the rails will match up, so most likely your going to have to do some custom work.

The rails will not match up,if they were 94-00 Gsr Seats, they would bolt right up i beleive.I tried to put 2nd gen teg seats in my 93 hatch,it will not work without custom fabrication.

lol
if thats the truth, you might as well just brake the welds and grind it down, then weld the GSR seats in there.

Umm ok,well i guess it was not taken as a joke then.
None of those 2nd gen teg seats or 4th gen civic seats will match up to the 5th gen.I have tried both teg seats and 91 Civic Si seats, too bad too, both are sweet seats, but don't fit.
The only seats that will "drop"(or have swappable rails)into the 5th gens are the Del Sol,94-00 Gsr,and 99-00 Civic Si seats.
