recently my gauge cluster back-lights have been coming on and going off sporadically...i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on tackling this problem...i'm tired ...

recently my gauge cluster back-lights have been coming on and going off sporadically...i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on tackling this problem...i'm tired of driving at nite then not knowing how fast i'm going.

any and all suggestions welcome.

that could be a problem... I would look for a loose wire.

check all of the wires on the plugs on the back of the gauge cluster. you could have a bad connection.

Is it all of your dash lights or just your gauge lights? If it is the entire dash lights, it is probably your headlight/turnsignal multiswitch or your dimmer switch.

yea its the whole dash sometimes. the gauge lights, the lights around climate control, all those go out on me and sometimes come back on. i'll check this out prolly this weekend. i hate wiring problems.

Yeah, electrical problems are pretty bad. You just have to get a multimeter and go to town.
