what he ment behind that was that he has to rev the motor high enough so that all his RPMs dont drop out when he shifts casually. which makes it feel like your "racing" around. try it sometime, rev your motor up higher and shift normally it does feal like your racing around.

WTF? Anytime you rev up high it feels like you're racing around. Yes the RPMs will drop faster while shifting, but you can shift as slow as you want...the wheel speed will still bring the RPMs back up.

heres why you are wrong. first of all the setup that is being spoken about is a street/strip setup. its not made for hardcore racing. its just good enuff if you wanna go to the strip or if you wanna push it on the street. its not gonna have a harsh engagement or a "racing around town" kind of feel. the reason your friend is probably saying sometihng like this is because he is reving the car up toooo much and releasing the clutch too fast. that will cause the rpms to drop fast. the key is to let off the clutch easy at lower rpms to get a smooth nice engagment. r u convinced that ur wrong yet. cuz fucking 3 ppl have told you they same thing!!!!!!!!!!!

the wheel speed will always bring back up yur rpms no matter how slow u shift. its not gonna make u feel like yur racing around.

wtf rpm's dropping while shifting? hahahaha

dude I have raced my GSR hatch at the track a couple times, and i think the rpm drop while granny shifting is normal to a stock clutch and flywheel setup. I dont know any difference except my car revving faster due to lighter componets.

i have know idea how to respond to any of you, know matter what i say you all get pissed off. its pointless to even throw an opinion out there because of how you all react. i have driven cars with ultralight flywheels(7pounds) and since the RPMS rap up so fast it makes you feel like your driving fast all the time. i dont care what you say thats how it feels to me. when i ride in my freinds ITR Hatch and hes casualy driving around it feels that way to me. yeah you can let the rmps drop out and put it in gear. i know that but who the fuck does that. i sure as hell dont do that.
so for all of you who are getting pissed off at my opinion on something fine get mad post agein and say 4 fucking people think differently. i really dont care, its an opinion on how things feel when im driving or riding in a car.

Who's the one getting pissed off? Who's the one using fucking this fucking that blah blah. That's right, you. You can have whatever opinion you want, I could really care less. However, you tried to tell us that it was fact, when it's not. You were proved wrong, and you got pissed off. I don't care how many cars you've driven with light flywheels. I've driven MY car with a 7lb flywheel everyday for over 3 years. I think I'd probably know the ins and outs of one by now.
