My 03 civic sedan and my 02 accord sedan both have OBDII certified stickers under the hood, but when you try to access the data from the port it doesn't work. Honda Canada says they have the right to change the data connection to suit their own needs.

What the point of having a standard if you are not going to follow it?

It is supposed to be an ISO connection at the OBDII port, but the connection isn't configured that way.

Anybody else have this problem?

I have a similar problem. I have a Japanese version of the SI's P2T. The USDM P2T is OBD2-b, but mine is just OBD2. I know the difference because I have both computers and the plugs are completely different. But for some reason, an OBD2 scanner can not read my computer. I could never figure out why. I checked continuity from every wire from the port the the harness and everything checked out fine. Then I put my old D-series computer back and it read it fine. I figured the JDM computer was speaking Japanese!!!
