Also remember if your using higher octane that isn't needed it will leave carbon deposites on the chamber / valves / exhaust ports.

Well your motor will have 10.6:1 compression which is the same as a USDM ITR motor. I would go with no lower than 91 octane if I were you.

i would only run premium. all Vtec cars need premium, my prelude required it, it said in the manual. running anything less the 91 octain will cause the motor to nock and then ruin itself in the process. hondas are wierd like that. i have a freind with a ITR motor and he only runs premium gas. trust me on this
