First thing to do before you start just practice on some alumnuim anything, and get a feel for the air tool as well as the metal, cause before I started school I could barely control speed on a air tool, now im the master!

That's what I'm gonna do.

As for the valvespring compressor, it doesn't look like it'll work. I was messing around with it last night and the head is just too compact for it to fit in there. The little fork that is supposed to push down on the retainer can't get the correct angle, and the hooks that attach to the valvespring can't really get onto the backside of the spring, because the edge of the head is in the way.

that would be intresting, but u spend the bucks u usually get the better shit. im gonna stick with craftsman hand tools for now. i get a ten percent discount and if they break i can get some new ones. sounds like a good deal for me

i still rely on my 150 peice husky set and all my torx shit. so far its gotten me through everything. i need to get some air tools tho. they help a lot.
