i cant remember off the top of my head who did it. so say its bull shit or what ever. and i do plan on haveing the car have insane power. its going to take time for me to get there. but im aiming to run 12s by next year all motor. and even faster time if i keep it that long. so yeah i could brake a crank if i do what i plan on doing. so spending a little more money doesnt bother me at all.

Then why are people using OEM cranks at 600-700+ hp levels without problems? Surely they'd break if they were so bad. I seem to recall a few sets of toda cams breaking and causing head damage though.

umm running 12's does not require you to have a stroker kit in a honda. running 12's is actually very easy.

no i dont want my car to have to be built for only strip racing. i want it to be daily drivable to. yeah i know its not hard to get into the twelves but i want my car to always be at peak performance. yeah that takes alot of work but i might as well make it easier and reliable. yeah i dont need the best stuff out there, but if its within a couple hundred bucks i might as well just get it.
but i think i might get away form the stroker kit. im thinking abiout getting it resleeved and bored out and have ITR pistons put in or some high compression after market pistons. im probably going to keep the same rods and crank. or i might get all ITR parts and go from there. hell a B16A with all ITR parts and bored over to a 1.8 liter, with port and polish and all after market bolt ons should throw me into the low 13s |

Peak Performance and Reliable, not really two things that mix well.

Putting all ITR components into your B16 won't work. You'll either have to stay with the b16 crank and rods, and use ITR pistons, or go with aftermarket rods and pistons. |

i don't think your looking much at the whole picture. yea u can make your car super fast, and great track performance. but when u do that u sacrifice your releablility and driveability as a daily driver. the more shit u do to your car the more possibility there is for problems. its just a straight simple fact
