No, lowering the VTEC won't help. All it will do is cause you to lose torque down low because of too much valve overlap. As for the nitrous, your stock injectors are fine, and you'll be fine with an OEM DOHC fuel pump, or you can just go ahead and get a Walbro. If you plan to run nitrous, DO NOT run a chip in your ECU.
