hey guys, im in the process of building my b16a. ive been researching stroking the motor alot. ive been getting alot of off the wall insight on the Toda Stroker Kits for a b16a. im aiming at going all motor with my b16a hybrid CRX SI. im sending my head in for a full port and polish, a 5 way valve job, im installing ITR cams and valves, adjustable cam gears, unorthadox underdrive pulleys, skunk2 intake manifold, mugen intake, DC sport Header.
my next project for the car is to build the bottom end. thats where the Toda kit comes into play. Toda builds someof the best stuff out there. and i want your opinions on my project and on the Toda Kit.
thanks guys

james

sounds nice man, and alot of cash to. but hey if u have it might as well spend it. besides that toda does make some really nice shit, so i would go with that if u like it.

ooooo pretty

build the bottom end up nice. cuz me and my pops broke a crank in hafe at the track on one of the Suzuiki's, not a pretty site. good luck with it and keep us posted.

yeah, ive loked around, did some investigating. i think i might not do the toda thing, i might try to go with a poor mans ITR build up, but a little better. and the port and polish ive heard it could hurt the motors air flow because there built very well. has any one heard anything like that? clue me in on this please

yea, that would work to. plus u can save some more money for some other things. and if yur not gonna run that much horsepower things should be fine. other than that, the port and polish wont hurt your air flow. what its gonna do is increase flow in the head. might wanna get an air fuel ratio controler.

If it was me, I would get the block resleeved and bored, instead of increasing the stroke. You'll get added displacement and torque, and still keep the OEM internal geometry and revvability.

Im with this man, plus TODA is overpriced jap crap. I would buy an eagle stroker kit for less money.

i looked at a eagle kit, its 1900 bucks for the kit. a toda kit is only 400 bucks more. and first of all, toda is becuase there one of the best companys out there for hondas and nissans. second of all its not crap, the prices they charge are because there the best parts out there. i would rather invest 400 bucks more for parts that wont have flaws in them or are more likely to break under high stress levels. ive talked to people out ther who have broken cranks from cheaper brands.

all in all

TODA RACING is the shit

Toda = paying for a name for the most part. You won't break an eagle crank...shit you probably won't even break a stock crank. OEM cranks are awesome straight from the factory. I'd like to see these "friends" that have broken their aftermarket cranks. I call

me and my pops broke a crank, it was due to a flaw in the crank though, wich eventually lead it to snapping and the valves crashing into the pistons, big mess. but this was in a suziki sv 650 that had been bored out to 700cc, all new internals, carbs, ect. and ran race gass.

pretty much meaning that yur not gonna break one... the bike went under heavey abuse, and it would of been fine if it wasnt for the flaw. i say dont worrie bout it as much un less yur planning on running insane amounts of hp

toda does make good shit, but yur mostly paying for the name. u can buy a perfectly good product from
