Alright guys,
So before my increase in HP, when i drove my car hard it would normally grind a little when i shifted into 3rd gear. Now it seems that every gear does that when i get on it. Is it time for a new clutch?

Clutch wouldn't make you grind. IT would only make you slip and or make it hard to get into a gear but not grinding. It is only when you are at high RPMS or all the time?

I have the same issues but i'm when i go into second. I think it's the syncros wearing out or that it the tranny can't match the speed of the motor. Beucase when it happends to me (when i don't just jam it in gear) i let i drop a couple 100's of rpms and it goes in fine. But i would put money that syc's are heading out.

same thing happened to me. i continued to run hard on the tranny like that, eventually second gear did that, then 4th. now i can't shift gears without grinding. I just ordered me a low mileage tranny, which i hope to put in right after I come back home.

it's definitely synchro's, but if you continue to run them, the gears will start to wear out i think.

Yup, it's your synchronizers. Change your tranmission fluid immediately and drop in some brand new Honda MTF plus some GM positraction friction modifier. That will at least help your transmission last a bit longer.

Honda MTF is good but BG SYncro Shift II is way better. If you can pick some of that up at a honda dealer, you have to ask for it by name, kinda pricey but its worth it. It only does it at High RPM's? how long have you had the clutch in there for?
