try having them reset the code, They did something along that line with my airbag light and it was off when they called me to pick it up. I was only charged $40, Its worth a shot.

you could get the code cleared, but you never know what exactly is wrong. I would take each fuse out and put it back in again, like someone else said. Check very carefully to make sure it's the right one in each spot...not just the air bag one.

Thats not the best route to go, because by doing this you can blow many other fuses out in the process. I would have the code cleared. Mine never came back on...Just save yoursef a headache and do it that way. These fuses can be hell no matter how carefull you try to be.

When your srs light is on your bags will not deploy. Basically it is shorting out the power to the bags. The bags normally have power to them at all times and they are ground seeking. You either unplugged the power wire, cut a power wire, or have a bad fuse not allowing power to get to the bags. If you want to get rid of the light if it is annoying you then you can just unplug the little yellow plug behind the gauge cluster. Then you can buy a jdm block off tray and jdm steering wheel like I did and scratch the airbags.

And die if he ends up wrapping his car. Its really a simple thing to fix. Just more of a BS burden..yet an important one.

If it doesnt matter having bags or not do what he said and just bag your steering wheel altogether and get like the Momo Corse steering wheel or something. If thats your daily driver though I would get it taken care of an ASAP being the time of season right now.

If he ends up wrapping his car he might die if its in a civic anyways. Personally I think bags do more harm then good. Thats just my opinion. I got into a minor accident about 5 years ago with this chick and hers bags deployed and mine did not. I was going like 25-30 and she turned into me from a stop to head down her street. Well when her bags deployed they popped all the veins in her arms from her holding them up and made her face swollen like a blimp. The ambulence had to haul her off. The wasnt but a few hundred bucks in damage to the cars.

Take off your + to your battery, remove the ECU fuse, Let the car sit 10- 15mins to be sure the Computer cleared. Assemble everything back and you should be as good as new.
Don't listen to Solchick unhooking each fuse would be a huge waste of time and effort.
