Stock fuel pressure, which I believe is 44-48 with the vacuum line disconnected.

Thanks i'll check it tonight after work. I think it's running a little high cause the guy that had it before me likes to run his cars rich. Also should i be running higher octane fuel in it?

Ok well i went home to check the fuel pressure and everything checked out ok. so i don't know what else to check, but here is what the car is doing. When i accelerate from idle to about 3 grand it cuts out like its over loading or getting rich on fuel like i thought. so i don't know what to do now. where do i go from here?

That's the way it's supposed to be done. The pressure readings are different with the vacuum on and off...and the manual doesn't list a pressure with the line on.

Unless its the 99-00 higher compression B20Z, or the timing is advanced.

Does it do anything else, like idle wierd? My old prelude had the same problem, it'd bog from being overloaded until about 3500 RPM...it was just after having the motor replaced. Turns out the shop routed the vacuum hoses incorrectly. Check that...maybe it could be your TPS?

tps is located on your throttle body, opposite where your throttle cable connects. Its held on with rivets.
