personally i wouldn't be worried about a turbo kit OR going all motor if you only make $12k/year and are going to live on your own. you'll be doing good to pay your bills and keep from having your car repo'd IMO.

i know...that's exactly my point. that's why i'm probably just gonna do a couple small things like intake and exhaust for right now. the rest is gonna be down the road a ways. i'll be making a good bit more money later on, and plus i won't be completely out on my own quite yet. i'm only 19 and i'll be still in school so my parents will still be there to help me out some.

personally... id just swap a b18 or a b16 and call it a day... there you have daily driveability, and it's not messing with forced induction or anything that might hinder what your looking for. It's something to think about. And those engines open up a world of oportunity also.

Here's my advice:
You have a couple of choices. 1. Buy a drag kit, and upgrade the management to hondata. Your looking at around $3000 with tuning included. 2. Find a used kit (I got mine for right around $2000 shipped) and use uberdata or some other free tuning program. 3. By minor things like exhaust and such. In my opinion don't by things that you'll have to sell later if you already know you won't need it. Examples: Intake/Header is completely pointless if you arre planning to go turbo. Such a waste. 4. Buy nitrous. I'm opposed to this because after a year of refills you could almost buy a turbo kit. Basically don't strap yourself by buying something you can't spend the money on right now. I totally agree with aaron, but if you can afford it, boost that bitch. My gs integra was loads of fun and it only cost me $2800 installed/tuned and I bought an apexi n1 catback as well.

yeah i'm pretty sure i've decided i'm going turbo eventually, but who knows how long it'll be until i can afford it. maybe a year or so. but for now i think i'm going to get exhaust and an intake. exhaust can be used with the turbo and a short ram's only like $80 so it's not that much of a waste considering i'll be using it for at least like a year.
oh and by the way, i'm going to pick up the teg right now. ![]()

the first victim was a friend's 99 Accord with intake/header/exhaust. we raced twice from like a 20 mph roll. first time i got a late jump and still took him by half a car. second time i got a great jump and beat him by like 3 cars when i got up to about 80. i'm really impressed with how the car pulls so well in all the gears up to 4th.
