I keep hearing a popping noise from the Pin in between both hinges on my passenger door. It seems like its coming from the metal hinge that starts from inside the door and meets up with the pin. Its a click/ pop noise only when the door opens. I added grease to every part visible..

what could be the problem? It happened suddenly and shit... Should I just remove the panel to grease it, or should I look for something that could be loose???

That came to me, but the night before there was no noise at all. This morning before I went to work and opened my door the thing made the noise for the first time.

The door hasnt been swung open or anything like that. Could lack of grease cause this?

Dont have the camera w/ me, what im gonna try is spraying pentatrating oil in the hinges, let the old dirt and grease run out that i forgot to clean to begin with..

after all that, skip the heavy duty grease and juice use a spray bottle of lithium grease.. Hopefully this does it. I think if a hinge came loose I would have felt it.

And..................I did add the grease on only 2 or 3 days ago, just makes more sense.

lack of grease on th hinge probbaly would make a creeking noise... i think that it might be bent, part of the hings is hitting anouther part, getting stuck then when it releases it makes a clicking or a poping noise

heres what happened. After cleaning hinges, re greasing them..no imporvement. I took off my door panel and the speaker housing. Reached in there and the door Hinge is straight fucked. Whoever did bodywork on the car before i bought it installed the hinge upside down. Fuckin morons, Never realized it.

Now I gotta order a new hinge because after trying to re install correctly its still bent and broken to some degree.

I called honda and they said its $54.56 for the part, not too bad.. but Im trying to book the trip for the Meet which is gonna delay me a lil.
