damn mike ur fucking good. i bought the stethescope last night and was checking around the motor and found nothing. so i was like mike said that the injectors could be it, checked them and tap tap tap. thats where the sound is coming from. i didnt hear anything from the distributor so im guess ints not that but def heard it from the injectors. now what do i do to eliminate the sound, or is this not a bad thing. do i need new injectors, do they need to be cleaned?

yo thanks for the good info mike

just clean them. but before taking them out and having them thoroughly cleaned, i would run a fuel injector cleaner found at autozone or wherever and see if that helps

yea i think im gonna clean em. i dont believe too much in the fuel injector cleaners. i think its kinda a bunch of bullshit. if it was that easy as pouring a fluid into ur motor then everything would be that easy. ill just take em out and clean em. or maybe get new ones and when i get the fuel rail and pressure reg install them then

i know thier not going out its jsut an annoying noise and ive never heard it before. it seems like a lot of ls owners seem to have it so its not a big deal but the better condition the working parts are in the better the motor will run so i figured i would find out whats up and then if need be clean the shit out of em. anyone wanna tell me how to clean em, im think i would use like a carb cleaner or something
