Eh, You can go either way with it, Id have to see your drop to really tell you. different cars drops vary..

55 isn't rare at all, and 205/50 will fit fine on your OEM 15x6 wheels. You just might have rubbing problems though- I did.

ok so rare might be an overstatement. they're less common than 50 and 60 series though and more expensive. last time i got tire quotes everywhere charged $20-$30 more per tire for 55 series than for 60 series.

Nah, price always just goes up as profile goes down. 55 is just as common as 50 and 60.

55 is a kinda rare tire to find at tire shops. So tell me why you would pay more for 55 series tires ie 195/55/15 vs. 205/50/15?

i have a 2000 civic si and mine has 195/ 55/ 15 on it i thought that that was stock. but if i drop to the 50 series like you guys were saying wouldnt that mess up the tac and speedo
