i have 195's now. I don't know what the width of the rim is.

It will fit, but I'd run 205/50/15's.

Lower profile, yes. That's what most people run in a 205/15.

Yup, plus 205/55/15 is just WAY too tall for any Civic from model year 2000 on back- your speedometer/odometer will be WAY off, and your acceleration will suffer.

not to mention for some reason 55 series tires are kinda rare. they're much more expensive than 60's or 50's.

If your dropped you might rub, plus its better performance wise if you go with a 195 tire..

Personally 195/50/15 are the best for 15inch wheels. I have 205/50/15 but only because thats what my wheels came with. I hate it cause 205 makes my wheels look too wide from behind and the grinding on the plastic on turns from my drop is annoying.
